You know, I have so many ideas during the day it’s scary to think that I lose most of them before I can get home and blog them. That’s why I’ve taken to carrying a notebook around to jot down my thoughts before I forget them. However, forgetting is not the frustrating part. The frustrating part is when I finally sit down in front of the computer, ready to blog, but I just don’t have the heart for it anymore. It’s like getting performance anxiety when you’ve finally talked the girl you like out of her clothes. [ooh I just so love analogies ;) ]

So, I’ve decided to write in little snippets. Maybe that will help.

Day to day 12:05 pm

Today was my first day at CITI. My company has been drafted to attend lessons there for the next two months. It’s a pretty good deal, considering that we get to stay out of camp. Ever since I heard about it last year, I’d been looking forward to it.

Hm… The things we learn are mostly hands-on. The lessons for these next few days are about constructing artificial ceilings much like those you see in offices. I sort of like this DIY stuff. It makes me feel manly. Haha.

I was thinking about the possibilities this course will offer me in the future. If I ever become bankrupt, at least I will still have the skills to work for low wage as construction labour. In other words, I’ll never be out of a job. While the majority of my peers might take part-time jobs as waiters (classic), office handymen or cashiers at Macdonald’s, I’ll try to find work as a plumber or something. The pay should be higher. If they offer part-time, that is.
